Bio

For over twenty years I’ve positively impacted Leader’s lives as a Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Health & Lifestyle Coach, Speaker and Columnist and Author.

During this time, I’ve shared inspiration, guidance and best-in-class techniques on how to be more successful by turbocharging your metabolism, maintaining a healthy weight and exercising intelligently through every age and every stage of life. As a former executive with NCR Corporation, I understand what it takes to be successful in the corporate world.

I’ve engaged, equipped and empowered individuals and organizations through Training and Coaching Sessions, Keynotes, Seminars, Monthly Newspaper Columns, Blog Posts and my Book “Leave the Cannoli Take the Weights: Practical Guidance on Eating, Exercise and Empowerment.”

My formal education includes a BS from Seton Hall University and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson. In addition, I have been certified as a Personal Trainer from the American Council on Exercise (ACE) since 1996. ACE has also certified me as a Health & Lifestyle Coach. In addition I’m a member of IDEA and I’m an associate member of the American College of Sports Medicine.

Specialty training includes certificates in:

  • Lifestyle Wellness Coaching
  • Practical Yoga for Personal Trainers
  • Sports Nutrition
  • Lifestyle Fitness Coaching
  • Fitness for Seniors

Over the past 20 years, I’ve been published 200+ times in “The Two River Times,” Greater Media’s “The Hub,” and “The Asbury Park Press.”

Some have described me as “…Jack LaLanne meets Jack Welch.”

I live at the Jersey shore with Karin, my wife of over thirty years, and our English Setter Daisy. When I’m not working with clients, writing newspaper columns, blogging or speaking, I enjoy reading, exercise, tennis, walking on the beach and drinking wine.
